GETTING STARTED Start LogicSim by double-clicking the application; after a few seconds it will open a circuit window and three floating windows. The components on the left of the main "New circuit 1" window can be identified by moving the mouse over them while watching the Help window. Drag-and-drop a switch, a clock, two LEDs and an XOR gate and arrange the unconnected components as shown.   Hold down the Option key and move the mouse to the output wire of the gate then, still holding down Option, drag to the input terminal of the LED thereby connecting the two devices with a wire. Wires can only be drawn from an output to an input. Draw the rest of the wiring then select components one-by-one and label them with the Component Name… dialogue from the Circuit menu. Next, tidy up the wiring by clicking and dragging with the Shift key held down to insert and position corners in the diagonal wires. Finally select the Clock component and set its period to 10 with the Component Options… dialogue from the Circuit menu. Select Notes from the Windows menu and type a brief description to be saved with the circuit for future reference. Now save the circuit, select RUN from the simulation window and switch on the Clock source by clicking it with the mouse.
